From Ennis,   from  US- 287, turn right onto W. Main st. Keep left onto MT-287 go 7 miles. At the top of the pass, there is a cattle coral. Turn left onto the dirt road. Go three miles on this road, turn right, go through the cattle guard, you are now on Fire Tower Property. Turn left through the gate and follow to the top.
